NBA trade deadline is gone now. So, no more trade is going to be made in the rest of season (until remaining season and post season finishes). If we look back at all trades in 2012-13 season, we will find that there was no big player involved in any of the trade (as both Dwight Howard and James Harden were traded prior to the start of the season). Before the trade deadline their were rumors about the trade of players like Josh Smith, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett but nothing really happened. Anyhow, forget about the rumors let’s recall all the trades made in 2012-13 season.
- Charlotte Bobcats traded shooting guard Matt Carroll to New Orleans Hornets for power forward Hakim Warrick. (November 13, 2012).
- Memphis Grizzlies sent three bench players Marreese Speights, Wayne Ellington, Josh Selby and 2015 pick to Cavaliers for Jon Leuer. (January 22, 2013)
- Toronto Raptors traded Jose Calderon and Ed Davis to Memphis for Rudy Gay and Hamed Haddadi. The three team deal completed when Pistons acquired Jose Calderon from Memphis in exchange for Austin Daye and Tayshaun Prince ( January 30, 2013)
Trades on Second-Last Day of Deadline (February 20, 2013)
- Sacramento gave up rookie Thomas Robinson, guard Francisco Garcia and forward Tyler Honeycutt and received Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich, Toney Douglas and $ 1 million cash from Houston Rockets.
- Houston Rockets traded Marcus Morris to Phoenix Suns for a 2013 second round draft pick.
- Miami Heat dealt Dexter Pittman and 2013 second round pick to Memphis for the rights to center Ricky Sanchez.
- Toronto Raptors brought in backup point guard Sebastian Telfair by tradingĀ Hamed Haddadi and 2014 second round pick to Phoenix Suns.
- Milwaukee Bucks acquired J. J. Redick from Orlando Magic along with Ish Smith and Gustavo Ayon in exchange for Doron Lamb, Beno Udrih and Tobias Harris
- Portland Trail Blazers obtained Eric Maynor by dealing draft rights of Georgios Printezis to Oklahoma.
Trades on Deadline Day (February 21, 2013)
- New York Knicks traded Ronnie Brewer to Oklahoma for 2014 second round pick.
- Washington Wizards dealt Jordan Crawford to Boston Celtics for Jason Collins and Leandro Barbosa.
- Charlotte Bobcats traded Hakim Warrick to Orlando Magic for Josh McRoberts.
- Dallas Mavericks acquired Anthony Morrow from Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Dahntay Jones.
- Golden State Warriors pulled off two last min trades before the deadline when they traded Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta and Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia and received two future second round draft picks in return.
