The list is released twice a year without revealing sales figures and it is based on the sales at officially licensed retailers, NBA Store and on NBA Store.com. Kobe Bryant topped the list six times in his career while LeBron James held the No.1 spot thrice. Currently, Carmelo Anthony leads the top selling NBA jersey rankings. Here is the list of all those players who claimed the top spot on each top selling jerseys list since 2001 (regardless of whether it is released in the mid of a season or in the end).
